Welcome Future Sailor,
You have just enlisted
into the world's greatest and strongest naval fleet, The United States
Navy. You have become a part of a military branch that is filled with
honor and traditions. Before you are deployed to basic training,
better known as, Recruit Training Command (RTC), in Great Lakes, IL.
You are placed in a program called the, "Delayed Entry Program", "DEP" for
short. Here you will learn basic skills and tasks that will assist you
to move from civilian to military life a little bit easier. You may also find this information from your Delayed Entry Program booklet, you received in your Navy backpack.
